Never say it right
Have you ever had something very important you needed to talk to someone about? So important that you prepare a speech in your head, rehearsing it over and over? Yet when it is time to actually make this speech to this one person... you just cannot get it right! I am like that. So often I will have something very important to say, but I can never say it right. It can be anything! An issue with a friend, family member... my husband. It could even just be me trying to ask someone for a favor or if they would be willing to do something I want to do. I will sit there for a hour or more going over in my head what I am going to say. That way I do not say anything stupid or something I will regret. But once I actually go to say the words... they fly right out the window! I end up making a complete fool of myself and making the other person mad or just completely confusing them. I do not believe I am blessed with the gift of words! haha My speech teacher would have told me, "Well, you should have written it down!" I do not know though. I feel as if writing it down would be just that more pathetic. Stephen says he finds it funny that I have conversations in my head. I guess he does not do that. Oh well, I do not believe for the slightest moment that I am alone in this. Maybe next time I will write it down... then I will just read what I wrote. hhmm that seems very... crazy and pathetic!
