Embarrassing Moments

I love to tell stories from my childhood/teen years. Especially silly, fun, embarrassing ones. I guess because there are just so many! What I want to do on this entry is tell a few, then I would like any of you out there who read this, to tell one of your own stories! I love to hear them just as much as I like to tell them! You can either write it here or on the facebook link. Thanks and enjoy!

Most of my embarrassing stories come from my teen years/high school. Go figure, eh? haha Well one thing that always happened to me, even in childhood, was I was forever running into doors. My problem was I would try to hurry through the door and in the process my hand would slip from the knob and I would go crashing face first into the door. This happened so many time! Several times when I would be leaving my classroom to go to the restroom or just at the end of class. haha It was terrible and so embarrassing! Also I was always falling UP stairs. Yes, UP! Not down, but up. Don't ask me how that is possible. I just know I did it!

Ok, I will give you one more story. Once I hear some from you, I will give you more! :) Well, I was on the cheerleading squad my junior and senior year in high school. I was what we called a "flyer". I was the girl who was lifted in the air and such. Well, one day when we were practicing a stunt my bases (the girls who hold me) dropped me on my head... literally. Luckily I broke my fall with my hands but in the process I broke my middle finger. Now, you may wonder how this is funny or embarrassing. Well, that part comes later. I just needed to give a bit of back story so you would get the punch line. Well, being very naive (even as a junior) I didn't fully realize which finger I had broken and the significance of that. Well, upper class men had, and they planned to exploit that. So, when I was walking to class one day, one of the seniors was sitting in the "senior lounge" and saw me. He promptly called out, "Hey Megan, you broke your finger right? Now, which one was it again?" As he said this he lifted his hand and pointed to his fingers like he was trying to remember which one. Well, being the sweet innocent girl I was I held up the ONE finger that had been hurt saying, "oh, this one." Him, and some other seniors who were sitting with him, immediately broke into uproarious laughter. It took me about a minute to figure out what they were laughing about. There I was, standing in the middle of the hallway holding up my middle finger. To anyone else who didn't know what was going on, it would have looked like I was flipping off the seniors. Well, I immediately jerked my hand to my side blushing terribly and ran for cover... as the seniors continued to laugh... and even yelled to a teacher, "hey Mrs. B, Megan just flipped us off!" Of course my teacher ignored them 'cause she knew there was no way I had done that. Anyway, the seniors continued to try to get me to do it again for the next week. Needless to say I had learned my lesson! haha Well, looking forward to your stories now! Make them good! :D
