Bethel College

A school I never thought I would be trying to get accepted to. When I visited there with one of my older brothers, I didn't like it. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. I just didn't like it. I didn't like that atmosphere, the people, the campus, nor the town it is located in. My mom insists that it's because it was the place that "took" my older brother away, but... I don't know. I just know that I swore I would never attend Bethel College. Yet here I am, 10+ years later, waiting anxiously to hear if I have been accepted or not. God sure has a sense of humor. The upside is though that I still get to stay with my parents because I will be taking my classes at Grace College. It is a dual program with Bethel and Grace for their nursing degree. I am excited, yet anxious about starting school again.

It has been 5 years since I have been in school. The Bible college that I attended right out of high school was just that... a Bible college. We had no other classes... nor gen. eds... nothing of the sort. It was just Bible and more Bible. Which is what I wanted. But now I wish that we would have had other classes that way I would have more credits that could transfer over. But it will at least make it so that I don't have to take any Bible courses... which will take away about 3 credits per semester. But that still leaves about 17 or 18 credit hours per semster. A very heavy load. So I am now trying to set it up so that I take some online courses during the summer (including this summer) so that way I will only have about 14 or 15 credit hours per semster. But it all has to be figured out... especially money wise. But I am trying to give that all completely to God and trust that He has a plan.
